JTCHS encourages Community to Apply during Health Insurance Marketplace open enrollment period

The Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) Health Insurance Marketplace open enrollment period started on November 1 and runs through January 15, 2025, providing an essential opportunity for individuals to secure health insurance. Health coverage facilitates access to health services and offers financial protection against unexpected high medical costs. With this in mind, Jessie Trice Community Health System (JTCHS), Inc. is encouraging the community to explore their options and make informed decisions before the enrollment window closes.

At JTCHS, we remain committed to ensuring that every member of our community has access to healthcare coverage and quality, affordable healthcare,” said Ryan R. Hawkins, president & CEO of JTCHS. “The open enrollment period is a critical opportunity to secure coverage for the year ahead, and we strongly encourage everyone to take action before the window closes on January 15.”

Open enrollment allows eligible participants to sign up for new health plans, make changes to existing coverage, or cancel their plan if needed. Health and medication plans can change each year, impacting costs, coverage options, available providers, pharmacies in the network, and other essential benefits. Reviewing and selecting a plan that fits individual health needs can ensure comprehensive and affordable healthcare coverage.

For more information about enrollment or to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment, please call 305-835-1608 or 305-835-1586.
