Jessie Trice Community Health System Recognizes National Health Center Week

This August, community health centers across the country will take center stage as National Health Center Week commences from August 4 – 10, 2024. In recognition, Jessie Trice Community Health System (JTCHS) is focusing on the iChooseHealth4 campaign.

“At JTCHS, we are humbled and honored to be a trusted healthcare provider and an integral part of the Miami-Dade community,” says JTCHS’s President and CEO, Ryan R. We encourage everyone to get involved and choose health — whether it’s for themselves, their  families or their community.”

The iChooseHealth4 campaign includes a social media component in which participants are invited to write what they choose health for on a card, snap a photo of themselves holding the card, and then share the photo on social media using the hashtags #iChooseHealth4, #NHCW24, #JTCHS and #ValueCHCs.

“We invite everyone to participate in the #iChooseHealth4 “fun” raiser and social media campaign and to challenge their family, friends and coworkers to do the same,” says JTCHS’s EVP and Chief Ambulatory Officer, Toni Thompson.

The theme for NHCW 2024 is “Powering Communities Through Caring Connections. Health Centers represent the nation’s largest primary care network. This includes almost 400,000 veterans, 8.8 million children, nearly 1.4 million people without homes and roughly 3.5 million seniors.
